Christmas Bazaar 2011 a great success

Thanks to everyone who attended the Bazaar last Sunday and made it such a great success. We also want to thank everyone who donated gifts, toys and bric-a-brac etc. and to all the volunteers who made the event possible.

Watergrasshill Community Association AGM

Hi Everyone. The Association's Annual General Meeting will be held in the new Art's Centre on next Tuesday the 29th of November at 8pm sharp. We are always looking for new members with new ideas to help out the community so if you have the time to pop along then that would be really appreciated. For some of you it may be your first chance to see the Arts Centre since it has been rennovated. Hope to see you there.

Christmas Bazaar 2011

Our Annual Christmas Bazaar is being staged in the community hall on Sunday the 4th of December from 1:30pm. There will be entertainment provided by local talented children and we are expecting a visit from Santa himself! There will also be face painting, a raffle for Christmas hampers, spin the wheel, and the judging of the Art Competition which has been taking place all week (see below).

Stalls include Gift & Jewellery, Christmas Trees, Fruit & Veg, Bric-a-Brac, Christmas Wreaths and flowers.

If you wish to donate bic-a-brac or anything else to the stalls, then donations will be accepted on Saturday evening (the 3rd) between 2 and 5pm, or on Sunday morning after mass.

Art Competition

We are holding a children's Art Competition as part of the Christmas Bazaar, so if you want to be included then you need to get your entries in to The Gala Shop, Watergrasshill, or give it to Noreen at Watergrasshill National School on or before Thursday the 1st of December 2011.

The three categories are:

• Preschool
• 6 years and under
• 9 years and under
• 12 years and under.

All entries must be on A4 paper, but you are free to use paint, crayons, pencils, collage or anything else you feel like. Make sure that you put your name, age and contact phone number on the back of your entry so that we will be able to give you any prize that you may win :)
